Do you know a deserving individual who is heading to college? Encourage them to apply for the AAMCF J. Richard Oltmann Memorial Scholarship! Applicants need a letter of recommendation from a full-time employee of an AAMA member company.
J. Richard Oltmann is an amusement industry icon. Richard dedicated his life to the betterment of the industry. In 2010, Mr. Oltmann was acknowledged with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA). “It is my passion to give back all that I have learned to make this industry a better place than when I started,” he said when presented with the award. Mr. Oltmann lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 30, 2015. In keeping with his passion and focus on education, his family has worked with the American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation (AAMCF) to establish a memorial scholarship fund. The AAMCF is honored to be a part of continuing Richard’s legacy.
CHANGES TO THE REVIEW PROCESS:

As a result of the pandemic, there have been widespread changes in college and university admissions requirements. Many colleges and universities have made the permanent decision to no longer consider ACT or SAT test scores a requirement for admission and there have been dramatic decreases in the number of students who take standardized tests each year. Therefore, ACT or SAT scores will no longer be required for Greater Green Bay Community Foundation scholarships.
